Do all Rush at once, please
Thanks so much to Nora, Anne and all at Rush Library – this was my second Fingal visit, after Balbriggan, and I was even allowed to bring the little pooch!
Isn’t this restored church an amazing space for their library?
My reading – from an earlier part of The Red-Letter Day than I did at Balbriggan – and lovely lively chat afterwards took place in the modern seminar room. I’m delighted to report that there were lots and lots of questions from the keen bookworms who attended.
Thanks especially to Isabel, Lucia and Matthew. If you were there as well please let me know and I will add your name to this post if you like!
Hope you liked your gift of a colouring page, postcard and bookmark from The Red-Letter Day. (Click on Buy a Book if you want to see the postcard and bookmark, and maybe get one.)
Thank you also to Sabrina Morris of Irish Media Group and Patrick Martin, editor of Lusk Local Magazine, Balbriggan Local Magazine and Swords Local Magazine, for giving my magical history adventure and the Rush Library visit a whole page in their Lusk and Balbriggan editions. Two out of three ain’t bad – much gratitude, Sabrina and Patrick!
